Brainspotting is a cutting-edge mind-body therapy developed out of EMDR in 2003 by Dr. David Grand. Through observation of the patients eye gaze, the therapist locates a spot in the brain that hold troubling issues. The therapist can focus on the activated spot to release emotional blockages and help to process the locked emotions.
Brainspotting is also used very effectively for Peak Performance Enhancement to find and strengthen the client's natural resources and resilience. As a therapeutic tool it is easily integrated with other therapies.
Brainspotting taps into and harnesses the body's natural self-scanning and self-healing abilities. Where you look affects how you feel.

EMDR is a psychotherapeutic approach used to quickly and efficiently resolve emotional blocks, trauma, and process felt emotions. It uses a combination of bilateral eye movement or taps and special relaxing music which triggers deeply held memories and feelings. This activates the brain's natural healing abilities and allows you to reprocess emotions and address issues that were previously unavailable to you.
EMDR is also an effective technique to heighten creativity and advance and deepen performances.
EMDR and Brainspotting can help overcome performance anxiety. Both treatments instill positive outlooks and outcomes for future tasks, challenges and performances. By establishing feelings of success, confidence, and forward movement, EMDR & Brainspotting can help clients:
